What’s in style right now for custom made drapery?

For drapery style: Full length panels that are operable or non-operable make a great statement on your window. Using rings or snap tape are both popular. Roman shades are great. The use of embellishments are back. You can dress up boring window coverings with glass beads and trims.

For drapery fabric: Linen is always a nice relaxed look but can be wrinkled. Silk fabric is very much in use right now, many companies have great Polyester fabrics that look like silk and are generally less expensive and less likely to wrinkle. Lining your drapery will also add years to the life of your fabric.

For blinds: Go for quality when choosing a blind for your window. Blinds can be purchased fairly inexpensively but don’t last nearly as long because of the material that it is manufactured with.
